Hello All,

I posting this up for my brother as he hasnt got the internet in the day time....

The story goes.. He was driving to work today and first and second gear felt fine... but when he got in to 3rd and 4rd gear beyond the 5000RPM mark, the car seemed to be resisting....

He's got an R33 GTS-t.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Mate, sounds like a missfire, theres a whole load of possabilities, I suggset you search under "missfire" for further info. It could be that the plugs arent rated/gaped properley, the coilpack could be knackered, is all the piping properley connected, no leaks etc or the AFM could need a clean.

As said all these parts that have been mentioned can be replaced/repaired using the FAQ's section or as said use the search feature. Hope this helps.

Is it resisting or does it feel like its cutting out all together? If his boost setting is high then it might be triggering the knock sensor..that would feel like hitting a brick wall...well, a small brick wall
