hi,
took my car for a drive today waited till it was nice and warm then put my boot down on the bypass, there was a massive flatspot then the engine started to hesitate like the revs would go up the stop then up then stop, after a couple of mins it was back to normal. seems fine now. what could it have been?

Sounds like plugs
Mine was fitted with 0.8 iridium plugs and you needed to give it some to clean the plugs.

the plugs aint that old. might get some colder, any other thoughts?

misfire ? plug gaps or coilpacks ?

first of all what mods is the engine running and that will determain what gap plugs you need as 7s are good for stock engines 8s are better for mild engines etc etc...
