There's probably more bullsh!t put around about headlights than anything else.

Not having a dig at anyone here, it's just I hate seeing marketing triumph over engineering.

While you're on that site, read what it has to say on the subject of "blue" and "white" bulbs compared to good old fashioned boggo standard bulbs. Which are also Xenon-filled BTW.

Sometimes I wonder about ebay adverts.

This one says £289.99 "Lowest Price in UK"

Hmmm, me don't think so, try this link to a real UK HID web site ....

http://www.hids4u.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=332

£209.99 ! and you get a heck of a lot more information on the kits. I've not used them yet, but I had to take out the old HID upgrades on my GTR because one of the ballasts blew and I'm seriously considering this lot.

HID upgrades to lights that were not originally HID's are not actually illegal in the UK. The law is very clear about factory fitted HID's to new cars in that they must be self levelling, but there is nothing actually outlawing HID bulb upgrades to non-HID headlights, and there are many Skyline owners who's first upgrade is to replace the crap standard lamps with HID upgrades.

My Skyline passed its SVA and it's MOT with HID upgrade bulbs.

And after driving my everyday car (which has factory fitted HID's), and my Skyline that had HID upgrades until one went dead (very old Bosch type, probably fitted many years ago in Japan), having to now drive my Skyline with "ordinary" "50% extra" halogen's, it's down right dangerous, I can't see a thing at night  .

I like how it say parts are made by well known manufacture yet they don't tell you who it was.

I bought a kit myself and had to pay £350 for it. It was an H4 High/Low beam unit, with bulb made by Eagle Eye (Well known Korean Manufacture), and ballast made by Hella. If you can't at least say that, how well known is your manfacture. :spank:

Too bad it won't go on any R33 as it was bought for my R32 with N1 headlight.
