I'm drawing a blank getting one of the HIR1 headlight bulbs over here.

I've found a seller in the US who sells them for $85.00 a pair but I really could do with one ASAP.

Anyone able to advise me on this one?

BTW the bulb looks like this

Thanks.

I've e-mailed their parts department.

No reply yet.

I also e-mailed Auto Bulbs Direct but they said they can't help out.

As a matter of interest, has nobody else blown a bulb or have I just got oddball bulbs in mine?

I got sorted .....sort of.

I fitted a HB3 to it.

It needed a rub of a file to get the locating tabs to line up but it's in there and working fine.

It's also a 65W and while there's a very, very slight difference in the light (the HB3 is marginally weaker) it's way better than just having one headlight.

Nice one! I tried Halfords for the xenon on my R33. Stupid bint there said they had lots of them, but they were only standard filament replacement jobbies.

I got her to look on her computer list, but they didn't have any for Skylines (suprise).

I gave her the spec, and she said "35 Watts? That must be really dim then".
:slap:
I avoided the obvious answer that she was the dim one, and left the store...
