Are you sure it's the bov? How can you hear a slight squeek above the tssschhhhh?
Could try - remove the cover (4 allen studs i think, the rest are for show), remove the insert put the cover on and try it again. Does it still do it?

Hang on, I read it again. Is it a slight squeek instead of the tsssccchhhh??

Ignore me :)

i'v taken it to bits and i'v figured out it is the plastic exit port as i removed this and the problem went.can't see any cracks on the plastic peice, and i tried to seal this in to position but still didn't work. i might try a few different exit port designs any suggestions?

dont the HKS bov's give off a high pitch 'sqeek' anyway instead of the meaty sounding blast of air ready to rip your bumper off??
