Our very much loved UK-Spec Satin Silver EP3 Civic Type-R.

This car has been maintained with a theme, which I have coined 'OEM+'.
This means keeping the car very much as Honda intended, but with a whole host of subtle 'invisible' upgrades which are very much in keeping with the Type-R heritage and refining the car to be just a little be more focused for the enthusiastic driver.

These modifications are as follows:

* Retro fitted with OEM Honda 'facelift' parts which consists of: Front Bumper, Headlights, Doorcards, Premier Edition Recaro Interior (front and rear, inc. rear headrests).
* Hondata Modified OEM Airbox
* Spoon Sports Drop-in air filter
* 6000K HID Lights (awesome)
* Connects2 iPod Interface for standard head unit, hidden in centre console
* Rear window and rear 3/4 window tints
* Eibach ProKit Springs (-20mm Front, -15mm Rear)
* Toyo T1-R 215/45/R17 Tyres all round all with GREAT amounts of tread
* Goodridge Braided Brake Lines Front and Rear
* EBC Yellowstuff front pads
* Mintex Rear Pads
* New Honda Matts front and rear
* Spoon Sports B-Pipe
* Spoon Sports Magnetic Sump Plug
* Spoon Sports Magnetic Gearbox Sump Plug

When I bought the car, it had a full Honda Main Dealer Service History. However I am a competent mechanic (Ex TVR staff), so since the 'OEM+' modifications,i have carried out servicing and maintenance myself. I prefer this, as I put the car on the ramp regully and perform a visual inspection of the car for any play in bushes, worn components etc. This ensures that the car is maintained in tip-top condition.
I have every receipt for every penny I have spent on this car, and the service history is absolutely comprehensive.
I change the oil every 6,000 miles, or sooner if I deem it neccesary, (ALWAYS with a HAMP filter) and have historically used Motul 300V 5W-30, but have recently switched to Silkolene Pro-S 5W40. Both are top quality true ester oils. You cannot buy better.

The photos speak for themselves really.

The private plate (A7-CTR) is valued at around £800 and DOES come with the car, as it belongs on a Civic Type-R.

The cars is always driven with the utmost mechanical sympathy

The valve clearances have been reset at 75,000 miles to factory specs. The engine is in excellent condition, and no expense has been spared keeping it that way.

Mileage is around 96000 (altering daily as in use) and Mot and tax both end of September 2011

I have full photo documentation of the car since my purchase of it ,aswell as that from previous owners with the last being a Type "R" Enphusiast so as you can imagine, its VERY comprehensive! These can these can be E-mail upon request.

It doesnt smoke, leak oil or burn it, it starts on the button and drives like a car MUCH newer!.

To be picky there is a slight warp in the front discs, the rear tint wants redoing as has lifted and the alloys have started to corrode (very common issue)

As you can see, the car has wanted for nothing, and has been maintained regardless of cost. It isnt covered in dents like most, Doesnt use litres of oil, If you didnt know it, you would think it was a far newer car than it is!!. I will take pictures of any part on request.
