Up to how much boost?

I know standard turbo only up to about 14 max, but if i was to get new bigger turbo etc etc, how much can the BLOCK handle? 18psi?

I know you have to upgrade the head gaskets if you are running higher boost.

i'm running 1.3 on high boost, 1.1 on low, standard internals and head gasket but all other supporting mods.

sorry - that's assuming you're talking about rb20 and not rb26....

If it is indeed the RB20, I know Bon from Driftworks ran his at 1.5bar before they swapped to a 25.

its an impossible question.....

the question i think you should be asking is how much power the engine can take at "x"rpm

18psi on one turbo could be 1200bhp whereas another turbo it could be 600bhp, you also state "block" so this figure would be the point where the cylinder wall fails and internal combustion becomes external combustion

any other failure would be crank/rod/piston etc, the block would be last to fail!
