further to my thread holiday on the isle of wight....:guiness: :guiness: :apint: how much in petrol 252 miles to portsmouth from manchester...easy driving.. but fully loaded.....

I drove from leighton buzzard to bournemouth beach 266mile round trip i had four people in my car and used full tank which was £60, i did put abit more in on the route home just to make sure i got back ok, i did have a little play with some porsches on route though, but 90% of the journey was kept on minimal boost

I put £45 in on friday i had just under half a tank by monday evening now on 1/4 .

Had the urge to drive on sunday, ended up going on the A2 and driving in a straight line. Ended up in rochester so i thought shite better turn round lol!

I did give it a good old go though!

Drove to France and Got 30 to 32 mpg and did 370miles to a full tank.

i went to cleethorpe (quickly) and back to cambridge (scenic route) 247 mile round trip, refilled at huntingdon 46.7 ltrs. 46.7 / 4.55 = 10.26 gallons
247 miles / 10.26 = 24.07 mpg (approx).

Forgot to add. Drove around Donington did 42 miles and used 27 liters.
