Just bought a R34 gtt didn't know if it was restricted or not but found out on the way back home only does 112mph.

I phoned a specialist and they said it needs a chip and they make a chip which hard wires into the car to over come this limiter.

I thought you take one out? and they give you the full power.....might be thinking of a different car....HHEELLLPPP

NEED MORE SPEED.............and power:aka47:

There is a gadget you can buy to de-limit it but also on the 33`s you can just cut a wire in the ECU. Not sure about 34`s though.

Most cars are delimited by the importers before they are sold you've been slightly unlucky there, i think you can buy delimiters for about £60 once it's done it'll fly.

See what you are saying but I am guessing SIGTR would not have confused doing 70mph with it maxing at 112 on the clock would he? I think most people know the difference!

So you are honestly telling me that you believe that it has not been converted therefore it is still reading in KMH and SIGTR cannot tell the difference between 70 and 112mph?

It is therefore clearly reading in MPH and then is therefore restricted to 112mph / 180kmh - give the guy some credit.

Yeah I am intruigued as well as with just the converter in (the cheaper conversion option) there is no reason for him to be wrong?
