Agree with Bruce,also it is all about slippage on lauch which is the saftey value.If you ran full drag slicks on a slick only preped track hook up is good so easier to break something,so bit of wheel spin is good.Not sure how available diffs and half shafts are available to you but they don't cost a lot here so good to have a cheap weak link unless you want sub 10 secs.Cheers.
