Hi all,
I'm picking up a GT on Sunday, It's a 2004 with 45k, silver, 1 uk owner, been in uk 2 years, half leather, rear spoiler, front lip, Bose radio.
It's also booked it for a lpg conversion next week.

Can't wait!

Well I picked her up today from London, then a 3 hour drive to Yorkshire for it's lpg conversion.

It drives spot on, and what a different in power from my last car (jag s-type 3.0).

The only problem was the cd player will not read discs and the radio will only pickup radio 1.

Here's 2 pictures which were taken in the M11 services-

Headunit problems are normal, radio you could fit a band extender thou and you could get the CDs out but you'll never stop having problems with it..

I ripped all the standard stereo and got a double din fascia and double din headunit, well worth the hassle..

Car looks good, why you going lpg thou, I had a skyline with lpg once it didn't end well ...

Hi, yes I think I need to rip out the radio and replace it with a double din but it's knowing where to get one from. If I order from the USA I will get hit with high tax then it turns up here. I'm I right in thinking I wil lose the use of pop up sat nav/rear camera?

Why lpg - I have fitted lpg to every car I have owned for the last 15 year. It will then be as/or better mpg that a diesel family run round. And if it's fitted/set up properly you can't tell which fuel your running on.
But this time this one is being fitted by a professional.

Also how do you adjust the door mirrors?

Thanks.

USA kits are cheap and nasty with rubbish rubber buttons, go jdm double din dash with the heater controls inc and you get good quality at a good price normally too ..

Yes but get a decent headunit and wire the camera to it, sat nav you can't get the uk sorted of it usually or if you can it ain't cheap..

Lpg well my first skyline had it and it was fine until it went bang, and yes it was fitted professionally
