If i put a cat and standard filter box back on my N/A will the mpg improve? :D because i dont think a standard (apart from filter and cat) N/A doing 20-22 mpg is very good :D

Change your lambda sensor mate, it'll make the world of difference I'm sure :)

ul have to do the maths pal but my RB20E will do 350 400 kms on the 70 qiud i put in each week and all i do is 17 mile each way for work

i no that im getting better now than when i had my big cone air filter on

Please excuse my technical ignorance but are the wires white and black in the oe one, because the thing ive found the wires going to it are brown blue and white! cant see any of the wires of the sensor itself. does this make sense? :D

mine had really poor mpg about 15-20 mpg when i bought her i replaced the lambdas now get around 35-40 mpg if driven gently 25 ish if driven hard so as above replace lambdas cheap universal ones work fine

trouble is, i can only find one at the front, The previous owner did a butcher job of a decat, instead of getting a decat pipe he ripped the cat off, cut the reaer flange off and welded a pip[e straight through. Cant find the rear one tied up anywhere, dont even know where its supposed to plug in. :( :(

sensor is on the exhaust manifold buddy need a 23" spanner roughly to get it out from what I remember and remember u don't always have to replace sometimes u can just clean them up to look brand-new with heat gun and wire brush ;)
