I'll help where I can....

Petrol is currently 152.9 (euro) but does vary slightly between garages & which part of the country you are in.
Only 97 available in Dublin as far as I know but will try find more out on this....
Hotel deals can be got from 30 euro upwards. Campsites are available but time of year would impact availability.

no 97 here fella, only 95RON, all normal unleaded has 5% ethanol in it now. the car will run perfectly fine on 95ron unless its a massive BHP mapped to run specifically on 97/99 in which case get some octane booster.....

Gents I was thinking as this run will include some kids that will be coming over with us we could include a family day out this is something the Irish boys could help out with, maybe have a show with the cars, have a bouncy castle, BBQ,you know what I mine and we could charge for people seeing the cars and all proceeds going to charity

we could do this when one of the big car shows is on so. can you guys let us know when and where they are on to help with the poll to give people options and ideas so we can check out camping and hotel options to get a idea on costs

Id say on one of the biggest shows is japfest over here but I think that's on in September some time. Most of tge bigger show would be held in and around Dublin then small ones futher out the country but there not that big.

yeah crapfest is normally in September and then you get track time some years

but "shows" these years are nothing compared to what they were like 5-8 years ago.

If you boys are planning coming from scotland, I am assuming Belfast would be the logical ferry port you would come into. the next question is do you want to stay up north or come down into the south?

@Smurf: very much unrelated but I had "Chicken Shat" a few weeks ago, broke my hole laughing when i saw it on the menu lol good times!
