After fitting my new elbow back exhaust i have noticed a hesitation from 5k revs onward. Now and again as im accelerating hard its as if the car is restricted by something like it wants to go but cant. I can hear spluttering from the exhaust usually followed by pops and bangs and i have also seen mahoosive orange flames rise above my boot. Is this to be expected or is it time for some new plugs?

Ah as i expected. I'll have to get me some split fires then. What are good plugs to get for around £50?

I've only ever had about 22 mpg at best anyway so i know its overfueling

Ring RSP (Damo or Richard) and tell them your mods, theyll tell you what plugs are best

yeah RSP NGK iriduims depending on mods 7 or 8's. They'll let you know.
