Guys,

I think I know the answer to this but just want some confirmation:

The drivers side electric windows do not work all the time - like 1 time in 20 goes.

New switches have been put in but it still doenst work. Will it be the relay in the door that is playing up?

could try cleaning the connections up maybe or the relay as you say, or fuse somewhere??

yeh strip and clean should sort it mate. Had the same issue with mrs 206 gti.

Or go to your nearest car breakers and raid a Nissan Primera of a similar age for the relay/black box thingy and all will be well. I fitted one from a 4 door M plate Primera to mine and solved the problem - cost a fiver from my local scrappy. Mine is only a 2 door but you only use 2 of the four connections anyway, so the other 2 are redundant.
