Been hunting one of these for years ( 7 odd )

Reason for 4 doors is children, hate 3 doors as seats need folded forward An just the hassle if raining an other things

Anyway over the years wondering how to import, insure An source parts I let the idea of a skyline sit An build up cars an power

Sri cavaliers, v6 cavaliers, 330d an 530d sports, evo 4 An then saved for a while till I had enough there to import

Then brexit came An money went haywire An wasn't paying over the odds for what I wanted

Wanted a 4 door manual turbo

This popped up in Glasgow An said I'm having that
After a quick call An barely understanding a word he said we finished the questions over text

Booked the flights the same day/evening for the next day ( Saturday ) 6pm
Told the seller I wanted the car An hold it for me till I seen it

Landed in Glasgow 6.30, bus to bus station An at the chaps house at 8 ish after eating An wondering about getting lost

Test drive done An money handed over
We were on our way out of Glasgow with the car an headed for cairnryan
While driving down the motorway I was flicking from 4g to edge An booking the boat was fun

But got to the docks in a good time while being stopped by Scottish police and dock police within 2 minutes of each other

Anyway less talking
Here is the car

Then as the cars boost controller was not setup but just fitted by the last owner
We couldn't drive the car on boost till that was sorted
So I rang the tuner which is very reputable in N.I an told him this An that I wanted the best EXU for future mods
Sent this picture a few days later

So that was fitted and mapped

Asked the last owner why the radio never worked he said he never had the aerial plugged in as he only listened to his iPod

I thought I need the radio, so had to plug it in

Found that

An said he couldn plug that in anywhere, had to google to make sure that was the aerial an eBay got me an adapter
Sorry no pics of that as it was a simple plug An play

Anyway. No northern Irish owners here.

Cool fm works and all radio stations are perfect. 1 job sorted

Then I needed a bottom boot spoiler
I think every skyline needs one

Above spoiler needs a bit of work but the chap painting all is heavily into cars an painting so fingers crossed he can work wonders with all

After work one late night I wanted to start working on removing bits for the front mount

Had the intercooler mounted in position in about an hour of cutting, faffing an farting about

Never really liked the Rota's so they were binned along with the ultralights

These were then bought

The fun part was measuring an drilling the hole for the front mount intercooler pipes to enter the engine bay

Trial fitted the wheels
