Well this is the final piece to my new turbo setup.

My standard one is on its way out so i thought, why not treat my self to something bigger and better!

So i bought a HKS Cast manifold with external wastegate port
Tial 40mm External wastegate,

And this big mother! G S Racing Holset HX35.

The turbo is rated @ 600-700BHP but i think maximum i will go for is 500BHP

Cant wait to get it fitted!

My mate has one on his built rb25 in his s13 and it is a great turbo, spools by 3200-3400rpm sounds awesome to, and will fit the standard manifold with a bit of modifying as its T3 footprint!!!!
Looks a great piece of kit mate :bigthumb:
Be sure to let us know how it runs when sorted please.

Meh

:D
Those turbo's can handle alot of boost, one of those is on my to do list
only 450???

woah thats awesome mate
Thats a sweet lookin tubby, hard to beat at that price an all.

Think i'll add that to my list of future mods :)
For £600 it includes an external wastegate as well :)
looks like lag,is it ball bearing or a journal bearing? what spec is the turbo?the exhaust housing looks large
I take it these don't bolt into the normal manifold bits? It says this is a good turbo if you want over 350bhp I might seriously look into this intead of getting my rb20 turbo rebuilt. depends on the rest of the cost.
I will be interested to see how this all works out for you mate.

They will bolt to the standard manifold but you need to make up a spacer with external wastegate port.

Aerofocker they are about 200rpm or so laggier than standard turbo. They can handle about 3bar boost.
2-300 rpm lag?i call lag in terms of time not rpm. rpm is how you get into buying a lag monster! i understand lag to be the time it takes for the car too accelerate to the desired speed after full throttle has been applied, maybe im odd
