Need some advice on a 1991 Skyline R32 GTST

I am looking for someone to give me advice on this 91 skyline. I have never owned a Skyline and do not know the history of the engine/transmission. I would like to know if $8000 is reasonable for the GTST with 100,000km on it.

Questions:
Were there any issues with transmissions, clutches and/or turbos etc?
Has anyone had maintenance problems with the older generation skylines(brakes, suspension, steering etc)?

Any feedback is appreciated!

Depends what currency you're talking about.

No real "common problems" with those areas, but these aren't new cars and it's anyones guess how well they've treated and maintained their car. Lack of care and maintenance should be your biggest concern over common problems.
Maintenance "problems"?! Again, these aren't new cars so expect to spend money in places you wouldn't expect to spend it if you had a much newer car.
Parts availability will be your biggest concern if Skylines aren't popular where you live.
Don't read too deeply into what I've said, all n all the RB is a very reliable engine and the 2wd Skylines are fairly easy cars to work on. My R32 is at about 120,000kms and the only trouble outside routine maintenance it's given me in about 4 1/2 years was a water leak under the runners, which is a common problem.
The best advice I can give is to get a mechanic with Skyline knowledge to give a pre-purchase inspection. That alone will give an overall view on the health of the body and engine.

check the "trunk pockets" (inner rear quarters) arent full of water
