I joined this forum late last year and was looking into 2 skylines, a non-turbo and a turbo. Both turned out to have engine problems after my mechanic checked them out. I have my eyes on another one now...a 1995 R33 2.5gtst. Car is white and has 117k on the odometer. My mechanic has not checked it yet but will soon. One thing I noticed that I need someone to elaborate on...I notice the backtrunk has a leak on the right side. Is this common in this year skyline? Can it be fixed by replacing the weatherstrip around the trunk? I live in the Bahamas and it has been raining alot here lately. Also when I rev the car, there is a slight whistling sound. I read on the forum somewhere this could indicate turbo issues...Thanks again.

Hi cheapshot. The leak in the boot can easily be fixed. There is a thread somewhere on the forum telling you how to fix it and it doesnt take long, just do a search mate!
