G/Fs car is a P.O.S ford escort, its had brand new, pads discs and calipers fitted by the ford dealer a few months back, now its squeeling on the left hand side as the front pads must be touching or something... Its badly overheated on the discs, i left my fingerprint behind on a wheelnut :uhoh:
Any ideas what could be wrong with it? A few things suggestions I could check myself?
Its going in for the MOT soon and needs 4 new 17" tyres and i've a feeling that rust may have got the better of it so i'd like to fix what i can myself so i don't have to scrap it
Before someone says it, I can't really go wading in with my size 11's teling the to fix it now!! as my dad works there and got about 80% discount on the parts and it was all fitted for free Cash in hand behind the managers back :naughty:
Thanks in advance for any help!!
