my car starts first time everytime ive started drifting it now and when the car has been thrashed and is red hot it not turn over its as if the battery is flat ??
leave it to cool down and it turns over fast again and starts first time ??
battey is full charged ?
could it be starter sticking ?
or is it just that its hot ?

day to day driving i never have any probs ?

could be the starter if its geting to hot had this problem with my rs the heat from the turbo was making the starter to hot and was making it fail try a heat shield at the starter and see if it helps cheap fix if it helps

My old Golf had that same problem. From cold, first time everytime...5 minutes later at a petrol station or the shops....try to start and it wouldnt start first time...second n third yes, but never the first....never did find out why that was

but if it was that wouldnt it do it anytime not just when hot ?

i will make a heat sheald and do the connecters see if that sorts it but i not know till i go drifting again
