See quite a few bodies going to the green hell in May, the ring has pants days all year this year bar the 2 green hells and last year May was packed so were genna hit the October one and hope for sunny weather this year! Same 4 days (Friday sat sun and mon) of full day track times from 3rd onwards! We'll be staying in a hotel which is approx £200 pp for for b&b for those 4 nights (think someone found cheaper villas though if budget is tight). So if anyone gets the bug when you go in May (which you will, it is awesome!) and fancy coming back over in oct shout up on this thread!

Sorry bud only just seen your message! We're staying at hotel burgstube, but I think we just filled the last spot the other day, but worth giving Martin at the hotel a shout anyways just in case there's a space available.

Were leaving thurs morning on an 8oclock ferry (not booked yet getting this sorted next week) and returning using the tunnel Tuesday

A few of us are genna get a hotel down by the docks on Wednesday night on the way there if your interested (it's a 4hour journey to the docks from midlands) so it'll just break the journey up there a bit.

So far there's me mrs n littlen in a skyline, a chap in a vw van and a fiat uno turbo (he might trailer it there he's undecided yet lol) and then 4 or so bikers, so should be a good trip if your up for it sparky :)

Sounds good to me bud :) if you fancy it again this year green hell is the time to go again for sure :D

you get in touch with Martin at hotel burgstube http://www.burgstube.com and see what he's got left, or even if you find another place over there shouldn't make to much of a difference as the hotels usually just a place to sleep lol!

Did you ferry or tunnel last time? I'll let you know which ones we book so you can grab the same one if you fancy it.

What brakes you running now kneesparks?

I went there last year with standard rubber hoses and pads and that was a big mistake for sure lol! Even with a fluid change to some stuff that cost me £20 a bottle (needed 3 in total :O ) I could still only just about manage a lap before major brake fade lol!

Put stop techs on and conceptua lines and it made a world of difference, this year though I've gone with wilwood big brake setup and dot5.1 so hopefully I've nipped brakes in the bud ;)

Aye I'm sure there's plenty more places closer in, just all depends on people's budget and what to stretch towards. Adaneu is an awesome place to go into for the evenings so if you can get close enough would be spot on :)

I might be up for that next year but this years all about the skyline for me I'm afraid lol! Spending to much time and money to not take her ;)

Yes kneesparks the Alcons look the dogs id love em as well, but 2k is like an unlimited ring card for the year :p

328i
my plan....
SIDEWAYS lol
Sideways across the grass with your eyes shut? :p
Will be good trip im sure. Im trying very hard to save up enough for the Alcon 365mm bbk before I go as I think that will make the car awesome.
Problem is ill need tax end of the month and rear tyres. Thinking of the Nankang NS2R track tyres as they have had very good reviews. Oh and I need a wind screen as mine is cracked badly......... Alcons slipping away :spank:

Scott's bought his alcons
We've bought a right pile of excrement lol
Will it make it to the ferry?
Who knows but will be funny as hell trying. :dogpile:

E46 323i 2.5 straight 6
170 bhp out of box but this is supposed to be near the 200 bhp mark
Seems throaty and gets a wiggle on nicely once stamped on gas
Apparently m50 manifold helps to free it up and boost power in that direction.
Has it got one??? Pass lol.
Goes better than the 36 323 we bought for this trip few years back :dogpile:

Let the modding commence:dogpile:

Really looking forward to this :D
I'm trying to bed these brakes in, they do work well but fade after a good few stops in succession I'll assume this is just what happens when bedding in? Need to be careful not to lock the wheels now, it happens easy. Think I'll need some RSR tyres for the front also at this rate ;)
