Some advise please i tryed a search and got so confused lol

The car has been running on Castrol magnatec GTX 10-40W since i have it 2 years and i managed about 4 oil changes no problem, the problem i have is getting hard to find GTX 10-40 where i live, can i simply drain oil and change to GTX 15-40W or do i have to start flushing before i choose a differnt brand and weight? is there a difference GTX and no GTX magnatec or just the lable?

The car is R33 GTST ,94 ,317HP if that helps

isnt magnatec for diesels? thats what i use in my merc van..15/40 is fine

Haha yeah they do for diesels aswell, im to scared too change it to another "bettter" brand as i heard i might poop itself if i change it to something else. Thanks chief ill just drain and put 15-40 in instead

Don't let the fact that its another make etc. stop you putting some decent stuff in there though...

Use the Castrol edge, 10w/40 or 10w/60 will be fine.
