Hi, my r33 has been sat in my garage for a while, i started it up today and it was missing. Found out it was cylinder 2, took the spark plug out and it was wet with what looks like oil and it looks like there is oil in the hole on the piston. The car ran fine before the engine is fully forged, was done a year or so ago and has hardly done a thousand miles since. So what would cause this. Ive fitted a topmount manifold and turbo and fitted a front facing plenum. Any help would be great. Thanks.
its more than likely to be unburnt petrol thats sitting on top of the piston it will be black due to the carbon try swapping a plug and coil from another cylinder to see if it follows the coil/plug
Like i say its been fully forged not long ago and was fine before i fitted the new bits so fingers crossed it was just fuel as i did turn it over several times to get oil pressure.
