can anyone tell me where i can get cheap parts to carry out a service on my r33 gts-t. oil filter, cam belt, etc... have had some pretty scary quotes.
looking to either buy online or in preston/lancashire area.

oil filter 6 quid
fuel filter 6 quid
spark plugs , use coppers change every 2 k miles , **** ididium/platinum
cam belt 40 quid
oil asda penzoil fully sinth , 17 quid

I think id rather spend a bit more money for decent oil & parts.
Got a receipt here for an engine re-build that was done before i bought the car for just over £1800.
Ok so it was running on normal un-leaded that melted a piston but if things go wrong & parts wear a few extra ££ spent on better quality gear is money well spent.

Who can tell me what a normal list of tasks for a service would be?

would av said the usual (oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs, check brakes, lights, steering fluid, water - antifreeze levels, breathers, electrics, earths, battery) etc etc... although if you want to guarantee all the above get done DIY it.
some garages...!
