Hi, can anyone offer some advice on a problem im having with my controller valve for my Profec B. When i start the car the controller valve is cucking in air through a threaded hole on the bottom side of the valve. Is it supposed to be open like that or was there supposed to be a bolt in there shutting it off which has come loose and fallen out? the car is running rough and wont idle at all.
Any advice gratefully welcome. Thanks

i've just fitted one today and we had the same issue. In the manual it states remove all platic lugs, use no and comm, but nc wasn't used so we left it....

I double checked the package contents and there was no blanking plug for it...

Just need to set mine up now.......

The solenoid on the profec b spec II has 3 ports. 2 should be used the other should be left open to atmosphere. Don't ever recall mine sucking in but will check tomorrow.
