Ah cool, must be a generic Nissan item then lol. The lights and wipe controls being on the dash confused me, as I've only had my 32 a few days. Was planning on covering the dash in leather on mine as it is starting to show its age a bit

you get used to them on the dash but it's a pain when you only want intermitent or a single wiper stroke to clean the screen

i'm gonna re-cover my dash and door cards as well in leather/alcantara/carbon fibre
as my dash got the "bubble" :(

next step test fitting the unit in the car.....
















all goes on simples.....

and still looks factory fitted

now back to the job of taking stuff off again :)

well the rear subframe is finally out .....


mmmmm....a bit of a sorry state



































so next for this part it's time to.....

get the old bushes out, media blast it or dip it to get the rust off
get the strengthening plates made and welded in place
then send it off for galvanizing and powder coating

Wow great tread. Keep up the good work. I have have used products from the Por-15 range with great success for treating and preventing rust. Its great stuff.

thanks mate :)
i knew it would fail the next MOT due to the coilovers been shot.....
so it was the kick up th a$$ i needed to get it done as you know i'd been planning on doing it for ....well 3 years lol (just couldn't stop driving it ......WHOOOOOOOSSSH)
so next 6 months off the road to get it sorted simples :)

not much been happening

taken the rear suspension to bits a little more ready for the big clean up.....




and one of the rear bearing's fell to bits (now i have some marbles as i lost mine a long time ago)not thats any problem as they are going to be replaced anyhoo

small set back.....

Death of the Gazebo .....








at least the car esaped un damaged.....


so just like the japanese when it breaks build it stronger thats what i'm doing can't let a little thing like this stop me eh !!!!

woo hoo......


i got hold of this today the first part of the new cover (need a couple more to finish it) i got it from a local place that makes curtain sides for lorry's i've no idea of what state's its in yet but its proper heavy duty stuff it took two of us to get it in the car lol and when it's covering the scafold tube frame i'm getting done hopefully it will stand up to the uk weather a little better.....
