Hi all, just a quick question i think i know the answer to but wanna make sure i'm right...
standard turbo internals,

R33 S1 - steel impeller blades, ceramic shaft
R33 S2 - ceramic impeller blades, ceramic shaft
R34 GTT - steel impeller blades, steel shaft

is the above correct about standard internals and would the R34 GTT turbo make a good, cheaper replacement for my R33 S1 than forking out loads for a hybrid rebuild?
if yes, are there any/many floating about and how much would i have to part with to get a decent one?!
any ideas pls, thanks guys

he R34 GTT also has ceramic internals so to run more than 0.80bar safely it needs rebuilding, the advantage is its slightly bigger than the R33 turbo.

Being slightly bigger it will flow more air so making more power at the same boost.
