Many thanks to "Robin r33 gtr" for testing and re-gassing the aircon in my R32 GTR. I thought it may cause a lot of trouble but after a pressure and vac test the system was ok. He put some of the replacement R413a and we managed to get the cabin temps down below 10C!!! Lovely..

All I need now is some decent weather to use it in :D Oh well can't have everything.

I thought that r32's used an old ilegal gas, r12 is it? Did you have to replace any parts?

The R413a has some addatives which allow it to be used in R12 systems. Plus its legal but a bit more expensive than the R134a used in modern aircon.

I may get my aircon working again after all then. Cool! :)

..It's known as a "drop in gas" and is used to replace older gases without having to change anything in an aircon system, and there's one for every purpose!
