i'm planning on giving my brakes a going over as they are a bit tired.
when i had my integra i replaced the front discs with new EBC blanks, Red stuff pads all round, and swapped the fluid out for Motul RBF600. The result was an awesome set up for road with the type R's 200hp, just at the level you need for a confident fuss free braking set up which could stand a bit of a hammering without overheating and going to mush.

planning the same on my current R32 RB20DE.

where would you guys suggest going for discs and pads?

please bear in mind i'm running the standard caliper size with the 4 stud hubs.

I pressume this is the same as the S13 set up but i'm not sure?

Is there a gospel thread on this sort of stuff which i'm missing?

well.... i have a set of 5 stud hubs which i was going to put on but tbh i have put off doing anything with them because at the end of the day the car is what it is. but also bare in mind that what your saying also means new calipers and of course wheels, suddenly that is not a cheap option to overhaul brakes... hmmm.

i have some r33 gtst calipers and disc that im going to try and fit to my r32 n/a i think they will fit but have searched and cant find any info if they do fit. but i think the originals are based on the s13 and have seen people fit r33 gtst caliper to s13s so hopefully they might go on. but knowing my luck there probly totally different. il let you know how i get on.

Ok i'm going for it. got a set of R33 GTR wheels arranged, set of R33 GTST Calipers on the way. Just need to get discs and pads now, hopefully selling my 17" 4 stud Rota's will cover most of the costs but cant find out till i have all the bits to swap. lol.
couple of questions if i may?

1. what do i need to do to the handbrake shoes? do i need to change them as well to R33 type or is the R32 the same? are they worth overhauling/ replacing anyway as a matter of course?
2. what would be the best disc and pads (talking value for money here) thinking EBC green or red and a set of blank discs
3. before i pull all this apart and get stuck in what else (if anything) do i need. Never tried this before so noddy's guide is approved.

You will also need to address the Brake Lines as the 4 pot caliper has an M10 female thread, and the Non Turbo calipers have banjo bolt fittings...
