Got a nice curve on the outer skin, just hope there's enough good material on the inner skin to weld the 2 together.

Test fitted overfenders, apparently from a mould taken direct from a GTR.

Still need, engine and box, some sort of interior, paintwork.....the list is endless just trying to do one bit at a time and not think too much about everything at once...

Boot finally arrived as the old one was a mess.
New standard GTR frp spoiler from ep racing.
Starting to look a bit like a skyline now.

Finally decided to go RB20DET with the engine. Seems sensible as it's the least work and most original for the car. Never been a massive fan of SR engines.

Ordered this low mileage one.

Just need a gearbox now....

Probably the best cost option too! Have you given any thoughts to the interior, putting anything back or leaving it?
Think I'm going to get an interior back in if I can.
Car came with loads of stuff.
I have all the seat belts, door cards, rear quarter cards. All the heater boxes.
This afternoons job is to fit all the heater boxes.
So makes sense to refit it all.
Also taken a gamble on a 4 door carpet to try and make fit.
I think I'm going to cut the cage out and remake the rear seat bodywork and find some standard seats.

Luckily all the dash wiring was left in and taped out the way. Saves some headache.

Looks like a lot of work there but think of the self pride when you turn it around to a stunning road car!
Good luck with the build.

Well that's half the roll cage removed. I cannot believe how hard mig weld is to grind through.

Heater boxes all cleaned up and new foam tape applied.

Cannot wait to start getting these in but still some roll cage to remove yet.
