Last winter i buyed this old nissan and made some body mods. I started the project by aquiring Kerscher 9,5"/10,5"x18" ( ET-5 / +5 ) rims straight from the factory. Then i started to modifiy the body around them. I widened the body by welding wider arches (+5cm each side)

Welded wider arches (+5cm each side)

Wheels are Kerscher 9,5"/10,5"x18" ( ET-5 / +5 )

Now its winter again and car is in the garage and waiting for a new paintwork, rear spacers with longer studs, front lights, turbo update...

Very nice!

I love the wide rear arches on your car.

Go on with your good work!
Good work mate that is a very nice car. I think if it was black it would be car porn lol.
one thing always flummoxs me about wide arch fitting kits... they just get bonded over the top of your original arch and smoothed in is that right? If thats the case your original alloy wheel position ends up looking quite inset of the arch and a bit silly. so ppl fit spacers to push them out a touch ..but doesn´t that end up hitting the original arch area or do you cut that out or roll it back?
any details on this would be really appreciated mate ta! I´m not too hot with car bodywork and most ppl on here seem like geniuses with it lol!

cheep kits are just bonded over
a proper kit or self made the old / standard arches are cut away and is best way imo

Im just having my rear arches done at Japsalon and i agree with you. Whats the point if you cant fit a wider wheel to fill out the new arches.
Started to work glass Fiber Cooling Plate... In this month I must decide new colour, damn it's difficult :bs2:
