i cant specifically speak to the r33 gtr seat itself but a lot of seats are held down with hog rings.
BUT if i may, id like to make a suggestion. i suggest using an upholstery cleaner tool. basically a wet vac but condensed. they work super well and the seats and carpet come out looking new. and you dont have to take the seats apart. thats my 2 cents.
