Hi there i bought my skyline few months ago an it runs realy rich it is a rb25de r33 stock motor just converted to manual i was checking over it an found it was running a rb20det manual ecu so i changed to an auto rb25de ecu an i swear its still gutless whats this vct all about an how do u know if its going or not?? Is it because it is auto ecu or what?? Help please its worse than lag haha

Have you taken off the trans ecu? Since it's manual now. Should be located near the drivers kick panel.

Hmm should run diagnostic scanner on it and see if it comes up with any codes.


Try cleaning ur 02 sensor and AFM

Adjust your CAM, and TPS.

or give ur TPS, throttle body and IAC valve a good clean incase theirs a buildup of muck
