Hi all I have a spec 1.5 gtst and it's running sluggishs in low rpm around 2k and only when car is upto tempreture, pluged into consult lead and no errors detected, the car is fine then when left stationary at tick over, then moved it runs extremely sluggish, u can try to put ur foot down and it don't go anywhere, We have changed
Maf
Lamber sensor
Idle control valve
Oil change
And put a standard ecu in it,
We have also turned of the avcr conrol unit and it's still doing it,
Ive checked inside the fmic pipes for oil to see if turbo is going but that's sweeky clean
We are baffeled if anyone has had similar or may know what it would be much appricated thank you

That's what I meant mate. If you run ecutalk, you can set it to log the readings. Select airflow, coolant temp, ignition timing, lambda, injector duty, etc. If it logs all those we should hopefully be able to see what's going on. It saves the log in your ecutalk folder, and is in csv format. The file will be named as the date it was made.

Check the resistance of the ECU water temp sensor, sounds to me like this could have failed, so it will be in warm up mode constantly, so the ECU will keep the fueling rich, which would tie in with it only feeling sluggish when its hot and not cold.

I was thinking the exact same thing....

Good news is, it's an inexpensive and easy repair :bigthumb:

...and if it doesn't do the trick, replacing it is good maintenance anyway lol :)

Ok thank you I have manage to get another water temp sensor to try on it, but I just took it up the road and noticed some smoke from exhaust when u try and put ur foot down, not sure if Rhys because it's been sitting ticking over for a while or something else should mention it has a decat and full Jap speed exhaust so it's always been popping etc!

So your saying it still behaving the same?
Are you sure that the AFM is OK?

Ok thank you I tried to have a go but that software is a bit over my head lol! I kept checking And all appeared normal in readings etc
I took car out and it feels like it's not boosting quick enough like a kick back and you really have to berry your foot, or like riding a clutch noise and feeling if that makes any sense sorry, also it does have spitfire coilpacks on, the standard boost gauge is going to 4-5 on dial, so obviously it is boosting but its the same symptoms as if it wasn't boosting,
It is driving me nuts!!! Lol
Thanks all I reall appreciate your help!

Well if you look in your ecutalk folder there'll now be a log file called 2102011.csv or something similar. Get that up on here and we'll be able to see if anything's wrong.

It's not something daft like a slipping clutch is it? Do the revs increase normally but the car not go anywhere?
