it was aberdeen to Stirling an i average 43 mph god was i fookin bored there is a thread on here regarding it lol was a bit of an epic journey haha

I saw the petrol light on tuesday just after I picked my car up from the port.
Ran out of petrol soon after but the needle was flat lined.

Took about £7 to resuscitate it.

For those amongst us who have played the old "the next one must be a Shell station" game will have been very aware of this light and where it lives! My wife on the other hand, good little girlguide that she must have been would never let it come on, it's an uneccessary piece of kit to her. :sorry:

i saw mine once in most cars you normally have like 30 miles left right? i ran out after 6 miles of it coming on! Normal driving too! Thankfully i had a can in the back
