Hi guys, i've just got hold of a 34GTT NEO engine block to replace my blown RB20 and was wondering what's involved in bolting the 2l head to the 2.5l bottom end?

The RB25 pistons are quite domed . I'm assuming the compression ratio will go up, so the RB20 squish area will need some work to drop the compression ratio back to acceptable levels?

Has anyone done this conversion before?

Cheers.

Ghost Dancer, the import company, recently had 2 R32's up for sale that had this engine setup (Standard 25 though, not the NEO). I tried to find someone info about what's involved and what the gains would be, but not been able to find out much.
Ghost dancer have a sub forum over on Driftworks, so you might be able to ask them and see if they can help you out with the details.
