Just a wee quickie... I did try a search but came up with nowt.

The RB20DET has what seems like 2 FPR's on the fuel rail, I have never seen this before and was thinking it seems like twice the chance of one dying!

I saw a pic of an RB20 with the rear FPR vacuum pipe going to the rear of the plenum, yet mine seems to be plumbed into the intake, just before the throttle body.
Is this the right place for it??
Can the fuel pressure be affected by this setup?

Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers.

one is pre-injector and one is flow back to the tank ?

Cool, cheers Sarky_FCUK, that makes some sorta sense!? lol:)
It does seem likely actually.

Still, I really cant work out why it really needs 2!
Is the RB20DET the only RB with this setup?

Really need to know how the vacuum feed to the rear one should be plumbed in too.
Mine was disconnected and the most obvious vac pipe seemed to be the one coming from the intake as described previously.

I just wanna be sure I havent got it wrong.

Thanks again.

Bump.. related tho!

If you are upgrading the FPR(s) on the RB20DET to adjustable ones, would you have to get 2 of them then?!

Or is 1 left alone, and the other one replaced?

Or just get different fuel rail and only use 1 adjustable FPR?

can the fuel rail be modified as to have twin feeds and a centre return point?

i will be using two pressure regulators one each side of fuel rail but am unsure on how it will effect engine running if one side is running 1 psi less then the other?

Thanks John
