I have a r33 rb20e NEO engine GTS single cam, and going to change the head to a twin cam. (preferably a rb20DE NEO engine as well)

Planning to turbo it by the end of the year.

Any tips that can help me take out the engine looms for the head quick?

LMAO reading my old thread.

There is no such thing as a NEO RB20 haha

To answer my own question. No

For the r33, there was no RB20de engine.
To use a rb20de head, you would need to use one from an r32.

THEN also switch over the engine loom + ECU from that r32.

Here's the probem. The engine loom plug, has different pin outs to the r33 body plug.[r32 Engine loom plug has different pin-outs to r33 body plug, which the engine looms goes into]

Best way to go is change the whole engine to a rb25de. All you would need is
-rb25de R33 Engine[s1 or s2 engine]
-rb25de R33 Engine loom[From a coupe or sedan]
-rb25de R33 ecu[s1 or s2]
-exhaust front pipe[which comes off exhaust manifold, down to the cat]
-second engine loom[other side of engine for the 2 knock sensors, starter motor, fuse box]
-rb25de R33 Engine mount

Rb30det would amazing but, the way my bank account works...haha yea you can go rb30det route but going the rb25de route matched my budget...

Whats really sad [and cool] was i took my rb20e engine out my r33, put in a rb25de engine... drove around in my mates r34 with a rb25det...

decided to do a rb25de+T to mine. haha it's already done now and drives mint =). if anyone needs help or wants tips to know how to do that project on their skyline[want to overhaul the engine or turbo conversion] just ask

Hey mate, I'm part way through sourcing the parts for a +t on my 25de neo.
Where do I get the oil from? Is there a bung around the top of the block somewhere? And does the coolant drain just tap into the bung at the back?

sorry its been awhile on this site and im guessing you already done the conversion? lolz anyways just for those who have a rb20/25de block.

To get the oil feed on the hotside you'll need to drill the block so the oil can access that gallery on the hotside. But an easier option would be to get the oil feed from the oil temp sensor on the cold side of the block.

To get an oil feed you'll need to Tee into the oil pressure sensor on the opposite side of the block, underneather the intake manifold, near the oil filter.
So you can still have the oil temp sensor and feed to turbo. Optional to add oil restrictors to turbo

For the water return, you can just Tee into the water returns where the throttle is or where the water return in the block on the left side also.

The water feed is blocked by a bolt 14mm ithink it was? On the hotside under the exhaust manifold. Just remove that bolt and there's the water feed

For the oil return, i just Tee'd into the same oil return of the Head which goes into the sum on the same hotside near the front of the engine
