Hi, Ive done 3 of these now so ill help lol, no the head gasket is ok as long as your not expecting 500+ bhp, if you look on the block there should be a 1/2 square plug that is your oil feed if it aint there you need to drill the block, the gtst ecu is a direct replacement but it WILL need mapping after its all bolted together...

I am going to be doing this in the next month or so (piecing together the parts needed). I was going to document it for people back home, but I'll probably post it up here for other people who may do the same thing (unless there is something similar already posted...?)

For people who may not know (including me)..are the stock ecu's tunable? I don't have much experience with Nissan's and turbo. The last turbo kit I did was on a Honda Civic and all I had to do was buy an ODB2B - ODB1 converter and an OBD1 ECU then could chip and tune to my hearts content. Is it the same with these ECU's?

yeah :) we could make it with 2-3 stages...

with and without touching the internals ;)

350 bhp with a decent tune should be fine with stock DE internals ( above that some meth injection should come into play :) )

There is also some differences between car models R32, R33, R34 and engine series RB20DE, RB20DE NEO, RB25DE, RB25DE NEO, RB30E.

I just had my R34 25GT converted to +T so can help with info there.
