I've done a fair bit of research on this but still have a few questions

I'm after an exact parts list of what is needed to go from stock rb25de to an up n running rb26 it's setup

And also what ecu option are there in the U.K. As you'll have to remove the maf

I looked into this a few years ago and concluded that a custom setup using motorbike throttle bodies would likley prove cheaper and fit better. Not as cool as a factory setup like.

Tuning wise... In theory you can keep the maf. but youd need a plenum the other side of the throttle bodies just like the RB26.

Otherwise your going to need something like Link or Haltech

Keep us updated how you get on. I want a RB on throttlebodies in the coming years. I've been playing with the idea for a long while

I've always been a fan of turbos, I brought this 4 door 32 and sold my track ps13 as I've got my first kid on the way and was always going to drop a turbo lump in but there's something telling me to stay na

Ever since selling my ae86 I've wanted na itb power again just weighing up money options and if the outcome is worth it

Any more comments welcome

I've seen a conversion plate for 200 and the 26 throttle body's for 200 so if you called it 500 still cheaper than sourcing a Rb25det it's just the ecu side of things I'm not sure about

There must be some body on here with the no

What options are there for removing the maf and running map

I no of the hks vps but it's quite old school and getting rare

Can you disable the maf on the standard ecu

I've done a fair bit of research over the net but am struggling to find actual facts

Any input much appreciated

Not sure how used this site as I've had no response but for future searches I have found the answer well the route I will be going down

Emanage blue doesn't but emanage ultimate does- have a function to remove maf

My plan is to get the emanage ultimate wired in and with a rough map and then remove maf whilst still running standard inlet, then I will make and fit the 26 itbs then fine tune

This will be over this year if I have no response I won't bore you but if people are interested I'll wil put a build thread up and update as I go

i think its better Apexi Power FC D-Jetro,its plug and play and i think price is similar to Emanage.I had some experience with Emanage and i didnt like it at all,all these software updates stucking and failing made me crazy,so i got rid of it.If your RB25 is without VCT,then you can even get Apexi from RB26.

Go for a Link, it will probably cost you a little more at first but its a far more advanced ecu and will accept wideband lambda so you are going to start saving on fuel straight away, you can also swap the cam sensor for something a little more up to date that won't give you scattered readings at higher rpm and sap hp

To use GTR ITB/plenum setup, you can either use MAF or MAP its not going to make much difference, however if anything your likely to loose power because the GTR setup is designed for positive pressure after a certain load/RPM point, so mapping fo N/A will not be ideal,
as you will be loosing the benefit of plenum that's designed to distribute airflow under pressure, it could prove bad for N/A at the lower velocities it will see.

I really don't see the point, a lot of work for little or no return, as you wont get the nice sound of ITBs, it can be mapped for with EMU, but i suspect its going to take a lot of messing to get it anywhere near right even if you can remove enough fuel from the std setup to make it work

he is not going to use RB26 plenum at all,just ITBS
If you read his first post, he asks about using RB26 setup, which uses a plenum, and as i said you cannot use just ITBs without a quite sophisticated stand alone ECU and a lot of mapping.
