not a clue mate. should ther be any difference in pedal feel braking distance etc?

no mate the servo will work regardless of whether the car has abs or not just means once you remove the abs if you stomp real hard the wheels will lock :)

however i realise now that due to abs your servo will have 2 pipes coming out to abs unit

you will need one with 4 pipes coming out
thats the master cylinder isnt it?? not the servo??

your right mate im not 100% tonight so :sorry:
dont be sorry :) your going to be right 99.9% of the time, :D
My 33 has no ABS and was really treacherous in the snow we had recently. Although you could always simulate abs by tapping the brake pedal really fast!

erm.... thats what your supposed to do when the wheels lock up, feather the pedal... with abs you put your foot down more, but its a pain in the hole when late braking because it wont let you brake as hard
Yeh that's what I meant, can feather the pedal to stop skidding around in the snow :)

No abs better for late braking technique? Always thought abs would stop you faster no matter how you brake, no?

no it kicks in earlier than the limits of the car,
pumping the brake pedal is called cadence braking, its very useful if you can get it down right
so leave it be and just go ahead with fitting bigger brakes ?

no the case,if you think about how abs functions it means that the brakes are never working as hard as they can,the abs keeps braking in a safety zone away from locking,if you can get your brakes to the limit between force and grip you will stop a lot quicker

abs has its uses but i much prefer feeling my brakes work
I thought ABS worked to the point of locking; if it detects locking (which must, therefore, have occured) it releases slightly etc.

imho ABS is only a bad thing on snow/gravel etc. but that is based on road use, not track.

I'd never disable ABS on a road car, but obviously track use is different.

so if i was to remove i would need a master cylinder from ?

You can keep the stock master cylinder and just use T pieces to split the lines off to each wheel.

I have removed ABS on 200sx's Evos and Rx7's numerous times and will be doing my GTR in the very near future.
