Is the fact that the HICAS is on is what makes the steering so heavy? My HICAS light stays on when the car is running and the steering is crazily heavy...

i done that too luckily for me i found a local specialist garage who have nissan diagnostic tools,so i can get her wired if i absolutely have to in the end.people who live near pro garages i dont think realise how lucky they are.true there arent many nissan pro garages up and down the country, this is why im learning so i dont get ripped off, because you can go some places and they know youve just walked in to get f**** !! i have learnt if you have a skyline you must learn the very basics at least.
