Hi guys, I dont suppose anyone fancys sorting out a RR day soon ?? Im dying to see what my GTR is pushing out now that my wastegate is all sorted

give one of the area reps a shout, there usually isnt much happening over the festive period but check out the xmas party at dunkeld hilton this saturday and you can discuss it with them there.

Hopefully there will be plenty of different events and things organised for next year

I went to Dalgety Bay for last dyno session with Calum's Evo 10, Sam's R35 and Les's Evo 6, was a decent session and well set up. I would prefer to go there again over the likes of Wallace at aberdeen and the one at Bonnybridge, any others?

it was a private session only. we were testing the Evo X and the GTR R35.

Distance shouldnt be everyones first concern, if more people were willing to travel around scotland we could organise more interesting events and less tyre kicking

I wouldnt bother with aberdeen unless you combine with JDMtas or a few other forums, not enough interest or cash in Aberdeen, way too stingey.

am up for this... was at dastek earlier this year,, really impressed, the guys were there to give u a full run down and spent 15 minutes with each person after ther car was on,, we had 26 cars ther and was a great day

As far as Im aware Dastek in Dalgety Bay are no longer Dastek and also I believe their rolling road was up for sale on eBay not long ago.

There is a place in Hillington that use a dastek dyno called dashfixers and there really really good. I know a few folk who have used them and been very happy !

I would stay away from bonnybridge, I dont like the way they have their fans setup and most cars Ive seen on those rollers have under read by a fair bit !

If Dalgety bay do still have their rollers though Id go there. I would also stay away from AVA as they seem to be very hit or miss.

Dalgety bay are selling their Dastek, thats correct, but the reason is that dastek are in receivership in oz, so they are going for a dyno dynamics, iirc.

Thats not what I heard and I dont think there in receivership either dude, I know a few other places and a guy who works for Dastek, It was him who told me about the Dalgety Bay franchise going under. Rumour has it that Gerry who runs the Dalgety Bay dastek had upset some of the head honchos and they stripped him of the franchise.

Could be bollocks though, who knows..... but ask yourself, If indeed they were going under then why wouldnt everyone be selling the dastek dynos ?
