hi all whats a safe boost pressure to run on a standard turbo? i have uprated the fuel pump and have big zorst and filter, im thinking of putting boost controller on at the weekend and wondered what to set it up 2? its running at about 6psi at the min and i would like to go up to about 8 ish. my pal has a gtst and runs at 1 bar all the time and he only has uprated coils and plug more than me the rest of our mods are the same. any help will be great

depends on what condition your turbo is in really as already said .85 at the most,but if your turbo is already worn it won't last very long.:spank: Just a good excuse to turn it up 1 bar until it pops get a rebuild on your engine and a big turbo.:cheers:

Ive had my Power FC and Commander fitted mapped and ive had the air flow and fuelling set up for it to run safely on 1 bar.

Garth at MGT Racing assured me that this was safe to do and wouldnt harm my turbo.
