Strange Noise and clicking

Finally got the old girl running on six cylinders and generally she sounds sweet.

Occasionally a bit ropey but seems to be ok now i have run it for a bit.

Two things bothering me though that may well be nothing...

Under load literally touching the throttle linkage on the throttle body and i get a clicking noise, this may be totally normal but im not sure..

Secondly, i have a weird noise from the cams i think. Its like bah bah bah bah noise. Not the best of examples but it sounds more prominent from the front of the engine.

Again not sure if thats normal as i have not a lot of experience in technical term"s with the RB25. It sounds mechanical as it appears to increase in "bah bahs" as the revs rise. Its not very loud at all, and doesn't increase in noise.

Any ideas or am i being a pansy?

Lol.. Its hard to diagnose from sound effects written down..

Could you upload a video to youtube or photobucket?

Ticking coming from the plenum area?.. Thats where your injectors are, so could be them.. Is it loud??

But id also check the exhaust manifold studs as sounds from the engine can be abit deceiving..
I tried! lol

No, sounds like its coming from the CAS area. Its literally one tick and thats it.

Yeah i did read a lot of that but im 99% sure its not that but i could be wrong.

I do have a video but the sound is nowhere near loud enough to be heard over everything else...you literally have to have your head to the cams covers almost to hear it. Not literally but to get a good idea of the sound you do. From about 6ft you cant hear it
One tick when you engage the throttle is the solinode for the tps throttle position sensor clicking on/off
Nothing to worry about

The bar bar bar could be the power steering pump or the fan belt pully. Try spraying wd40 in there carefully.

failing that are you sure its not just the sweet sound of the straight six???
