Hi Andy, Skyline is still in bits - exhaust manifold lost 3 nuts + changing water pump , cam belt etc. and hoping to change out some of the wiring harness. Hoping to be back together and on the road for start of April - but I can always turn up in the daily driver if this goes ahead and I can play out.

Andy - The exhaust manifold now has a full set of bolts again, tubby and new coilpack wiring harness are fitted - timing gear stripped down and water pump off. New belt, tensioner, spring, idler and water pump ready to go on. Looks like camshaft seals are OK once all the ejaculated green watery greasy gunk was removed from inside the casing. A minor concern over the adjuster bolt slot on the new water pump .... like it doesn't have one  .... but I am confident she will seal up OK. Rear door tweeters fitted - puddle lights almost there (once we can get the car out the garage and can open the doors wide enough to sort out feeding the wiring).......... Really wished she was running in the sunshine yesterday - BUT finger is fully out and we WILL be back taxed and on the road for the start of April at Guys - or any of the other haunts. Unfortunately my best mate John has had to hand in his licence for 6 months due to a health scare - which means no 70's Mustang fix until later in the summer - Plus 90's Jap mad relatives are over from New Zealand in April - and I am sure they would all love a pint and some Skyline exhaust fumes.

Waiting on carl now to get his finger out and MOT his smurf mobile lol. With easter being mid month how about we make it the last sunday of the month? Don't be shy with other suggestions.

Sunday 27th is good for me.

My car hate me again. We have an intermittent full rev range misfire that happens just as the engine gets to temperature - (ie after driving for 10 - 15 minutes but only from cold). Engine feels like it is firing on 4 or 5 cylinders.... will rev but is hesitant (like revving with choke on for oldies that remember that) - drives that way for between 10 - 45 seconds - will tick over but is noticeably lumpier than normal. Then clears as suddenly as it started and all is good again for the rest of the day.

And it doesn't do it every time.

......any ideas ?
