Does anybody know where i can get hold of the tool to adjust my tein shocks, i need to soften them up a bit! it's fine for a track but way too bumpy for our roads.

I take it your talking about the C spanner. Ebay :bigthumb:
Is he not on about the allen key bit on top for adjusting damping?
yeah just use an allen key. c spanners only adjust height
cheers. i need to do both.
Once you've got your ride hight sorted why not invest in a TEIN EDFC controller, you can then easily adjust it for track and road use.
dont be too surprised if even after adjusting there way too hard
yeah it probably will be too hard still, but after i increase the ride height a bit and soften the dampers it should be more bearable............hopefully!!!

You probably wont notice a difference ;)
As said above. The height doesn't effect the softness. Springs are the same hardness at whatever compression they are. Only the damping thing on the top will make it softer.
if it's still too hard after adjusting the damping then i'd recommend trying some softer springs
i would give them a good look over when your at it mate...ive heard of troubles with tein coilovers with them cracking and breaking...

i'll try and find the link
no matter how hard i loosen the damper allen key thing on the drivers side its still rock hard - yet it goes very soft on the passenger side if you want. there adjsutable tein superstreets? something gone?
Yep if they came with the car, they are probably Japanese spring rates which are alot harder than Uk spec. Tried all that myself. Raised the suspension set the damping rate at its softest and didnt change a thing. In the end I bought a new set of Superstreet from the Uk. There is no comparison, its like a totaly different car now.
But if you still want, you can get the c spanners from Tein only cost about £15 and you can adjust the damping setting by hand.
