I was trying to do a good thing for everyone incurring the. Ost of having these items made up just to let go at cost price an my thread has been removed without even a explanation or a pm to say what's going on frankly I find it offensive!!!

to trade on this forum you need to become a trader even if you are selling the parts at a loss

As above, you might not be trading, but your friend is via you.
Should your friend want to start trading on this forum you will need to contact BC when he is back from holiday to discuss terms.
This is not the forum picking on you, a number of long standing members on here have recently been told the exact same thing.

he doesn't want to trade he is making me theses as a request. he is a full time welder not a car modder i asked if he could make the bits for my car he said yes then i thought of how many people buy the shitty ebay heat shields which are over priced in the first place and thought if hes makin me one why cant he just make me a load up to fit 33s and 34s...
ask any of the guys i know if i will make a dime coz i can tell ya now i wnt and will he yes coz im paying him so obv he will!!but **** it i honestly dnt give a **** anymore not had anythin but hassle off here for the last few months so im just not gunna bother anyone who knows me has my number see you all guys thatched monday 4th july 6pm!

I tend to agree with the last part. The forum sometimes needs a slight attitude adjustment but on the whole most of you are a right laugh.

and i stand by him TBH.....he has a 7 day ban

almost every single post on his thread was from people explaining to him that it was against the rules but he simply ignored them

i closed the thread due to a complaint by a trader and left an explaination as to why, no delete and he then posts this thread asking why it was deleted when it wasnt and claimng the rules had not been explained and now he's "pissed off with this forum"

im guessing the final nail in the coffin being...

after we allowed this thread to run and explained it again so yea 7 day ban is fine IMO

Its just a public forum for modifying old Japanese cars ... Get a grip everyone ... a 7 day ban for an unhappy member who stands up and shouts "i'm pissed off"

lol, well could have been alot worse for Rarche if the banner was Col Gadaffi i suppose.

There has to be order and rules on a forum this size, and if the mods dont enforce them they might as well dont have any rules, some of you guys say "but its just a forum, why <insert thing they did here>" well its just a forum, why care if they are strict to follow Their rules that You agreed to when you regged?

If you behave and dont argue when you are wrong you wont get in any trouble, i hope ;p

I gave him the 7 day ban, the original thread had complaints logged by two "official" traders. So I simply moderated (not deleted) the thread pending Keiths return.
Group buys & trading via a 3rd party all need to be cleared before being opened up to the forum.
I thought the last post warranted a cooling off period hence the ban.

Am on the mods side on this one...

give the mods and admin a rest they dont get paid for it and get nothing but crap off some members on here just like us reps!....

There rules to protect us guys... But sometimes i think rarache needs to take a step back before he post things because he does upset people, not the 1st time he has done it....

been out the loop and come back half way through a conversation....however.

1) the small independent enthusiast who finds a good deal and wants to share via the net is penalised by a rule of this type. (under these rules several of my past GB's would have been disaloowed methinks?)
2) the bigger, registered traders are given an advantage, one that they do pay for inal fairness, but none the less an advantage.

its merely an observation, but the forum is for the benefit of whom? the trader? or the memebers/owners?

it is either a "paid for, "target rich" environment" for traders..or an independent enthusiast run website, to allow those who own these cars to to keep em going.

In general rules such as this one do seem to make the above mutually exclusive.

however...like i say general comments only and not really apropriate for me to say anything about the current ban....so i wont.
