My friend told me about these lenses called tilt shift lenses. What they do is they angle the focal plane diagonally rather than horizontal and vertical and create an outcome that makes anything look like models. Im thinking of getting one so at the next meet I will come along and get some photos of the guys. Examples below

Nah seriously... those ARE models, aren't they? :dogpile:

That's an awesome lens :bigthumb: Certainly puts a different twist on photography

it depends on how good a picture it is in the first place, but essentially all it does is enhance colours and blur top and bottom to give the illusion that the camera is really zoomed in focusing on one small area, giving the appearance of things being miniature when they aren't.

I don't know about plugins and stuff, but there's even websites online where you can upload images and it tiltshift them. Results vary depending on the picture though. Ones from far away and preferably from a height obviously work best to help the illusion of scale.
